Willoughby City Council Community Grants Program

Welcome to the Willoughby City Council Community Grants Program.

Applications for the 2026/27 Round 1 Community Grants Program are now open.

Before starting an application, please read the Community Grants Program Guidelines to ensure your project and organisation are eligible.

Applications close: Sunday 2 August 2026 at 11:59 pm (AEST).

Choose the correct application form

Major Grants $5,001 to $10,000

• Supports larger‑scale projects that demonstrate strategic impact, sustainability and measurable community
  outcomes.
• Available in the Community Development, Environmental Sustainability, Economic Activation and Arts & Culture grant categories. 
• Preference is given to projects that demonstrate matched financial or in-kind contributions.

Minor Grants $500 to $5000

• Supports smaller initiatives, pilot projects and volunteer led activities.
• Available across all eligible grant categories, including Community Development, Environmental Sustainability, Economic Activation, Arts & Culture, and Sport, recreation and athlete development (maximum $500)

Please ensure you apply using the correct application form, as applications cannot be transferred between funding streams after submission.

• Allow sufficient time to complete and submit your application before the closing date.

Late applications cannot be accepted.
